  • "Les Fleur" is one of my favourite tracks and I discovered this edit by browsing through Discogs and I was initially alarmed to be honest. You don't fuck with perfection and this already had a great groove and a bombastic chorus, so what is there to do with it? Well they could have taken the 90's Chicago style of editing or the 00's UK style of editing and in both versions you would just end up with aural rape (in this case mind you). FUG took the more conventional route and stayed true to the original. The intros and middle eights are extended, there is some minor effect-work and a slightly mixable outro is tacked on. There is some moments I could have gone without such as the false start in extended intro. The transition to the mix-out just sounds awkward and forced and I didn't like how the made the first chorus too bombastic, when the original already has the levels of epic set firmly to 11. But other than that, this delivers.
